Hi, I’m Sanjay.
I'm a founder, builder, and student. I study data science, applied math, and statistics at the University of California, Berkeley.
Right now: agent-based retrieval at Prologis, and research at Berkeley’s Statistical Artificial Intelligence Lab (SAIL) on e-processes, multi-arm efficiency, and evidence detection for models and agents under Ian Waudby-Smith.
Previously: agent architecture and evaluation criteria at Zendesk; co-founded Breefly, backed by Character Capital at a $3M valuation.
I’m a fellow at Entrepreneurs@Berkeley and AI Entrepreneurs at Berkeley, where I advise and help build startups.
I’m interested on the impacts of superintelligence (especially in achieving explainable AI) as well as lean agent architectures that combat model degradation. I’m also excited by software infrastructure that enables the deployment of humanoids. I like building systems that create efficiency, depth, and provide an extra layer of intelligence.
Otherwise: Chelsea, the Pistons, poker, guitar, and the occasional half marathon.
